CITY OF XENIA, OHIO NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES: The Xenia City Council adopted the following ordinances on October 10, 2024: 2024-25 Amending the City’s Traffic Code, as Contained in Part Four of the Xenia City Code, 2024-26 Amending Chapter 872. Of the City’s Business Regulation and Taxation Code to Prohibit the Establishment of Adult-use Cannabis Operators Including Cultivators, Processors, and Dispensaries Within the City of Xenia, as Permitted by Ohio Revised Code Section 3780.25, 2024-27 Authorizing the Issuance of Not to Exceed $11,000,000 of Bonds for the Purpose of Paying a Portion of the Cost of: (a) Utility Improvements, Including Water, Sanitary Sewer, Stormwater, Electric, Natural Gas, and Telecom; (B) Roadway and Streetscape Improvements, Including Lane Reductions, Lane Width Reductions, on Street Parking, Intersection Modifications, Pedestrian and Bicycle Facilities, Curb, Sidewalk, Street Lighting, and Landscaping; (C) Demolition and Site Preparation for Roadway, Water, Stormwater, Sidewalk, on-street Parking and Streetscape Improvements; (D) Construction of Greenspaces and Other Public Spaces for the Promenade Area, the King St. Sitting Area, and the Central Greenspace Area; and (E) Other Public Amenities, Including Fountains, Fireplaces, Boardwalks, and Entertainment Stages, Within and Near to the Proposed Market District in the Xenia Towne Square, and Other Matters Related to Such Bonds, and Declaring an Emergency, 2024-28 Authorizing the Issuance of Not to Exceed $5,000,000 of Bonds for the Purpose of Refunding Bonds Originally Issued for the Purpose of Paying Part of the Costs of Renovating the City Hall and Constructing, Installing, and Equipping Building Improvements Known as the Whiteman Lot Administration Building, and Other Matters Related to Such Bonds, and Declaring an Emergency, 2024-29 Authorizing the Consolidation of Up to Two Bond Issues of the City of Xenia, Ohio, and Other Matters Related to Such Consolidated Bond Issue, and Declaring an Emergency, and 2024-30 Amending Ordinance 2024-21 to Provide Appropriations for Current Expenses and Other Expenditures for the City of Xenia, Ohio, for the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2024, and Declaring an Emergency.
